Established in 1969, the Essex County Highway Association (ECHA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing municipal infrastructure and quality of life in Essex County, Massachusetts. Its membership is geared toward public works professionals in the 32 cities and towns that comprise Essex County, as well as consultants and vendors that provide services and products in support of wide-ranging public works improvement projects.

The ECHA is committed to supporting its members by:

• Providing an array of programs, activities, and information that enables them to stay abreast of best practices, technologies, management, and regulatory developments that influence public works projects

• Strengthening collaboration among the Essex County communities

• Nurturing the next generation of public works professionals

• Creating networking opportunities

• Supporting an annual scholarship fund and donating to organizations that help those in need across our county

 

From educational events and trade shows to Young Professional (YP) programs, and social events like our annual Summer Meeting and Golf Tournament, we provide a variety of ways for our members to build new relationships and advance both their projects and professional careers.
